Drawing of the "Aeon" project, an open-source platform to study the neural basis of ethological behaviours over naturalistic timescales.
Are you a neuroscientist with great coding skills, or a software engineer interested in the brain?
We are recruiting for a research software engineer to help us build pipelines to process weeks of neural and behavioural recordings from freely moving animals.

By default the prints look quite washed out, so I usually just crank it up the saturation a bit. I canβt remember exactly what parameters I used, but itβs consistent across photos.
I think the printer supports lots of different protocols, but Iβve only used the selphy app, and it works fine.

We have the Canon printer. Iβve found that you need to play around with saturation etc to make the prints look anything like they do on screen, but itβs easy to use and reliable.

Trusted by design (part 3): embrace radically open communication β NIU
Part 3 of my "Trusted by design" blog series is live at neuroinformatics.dev/blog/trusted...
Open-source software is public, yet much of the communication around it may happen in private channels. What if communication were radically openβvisible to anyone who cares to look?

In principle it would work, but for human MRI there are much better suited tools. ANTs, FSL, AFNI, elastix and SPM all spring to mind.
Itβs been a while since Iβve worked with MRI, but I seem to remember FSL being the easiest βout of the boxβ experience, it comes bundled with atlases etc.
