If we could sum up the ethos of our current WIP, it . . . probably wouldn't be this, it would be something like 'lesbian butt sex' or 'technodystopian trans rage' but this would make the manifesto.

Oh that is beautiful.
Seriously though, so glad the triptych made it, we're looking forward to finally getting our act together and getting your lovely art on our walls.
Hype!!!
Too cute!!!
Not for years, but Alexis certainly used to. So it isn't just you.
Photo of three sketches aligned on the floor. The first is a blue landscaoe with big vertical cliffs. The second is a red landscape with a big white orb in the sky and a desertic land below. The third is a green lamdscape of a forest. Indian ink on paper.
Quick question for those who follow my work:
would you be interested in these three as a triptych, or better as separate prints? Or not at all ?
(These are the original sketches so sizes arenβt perfectly aligned yet. The prints would be clean and uniform:))

We suspect you know our answer. We love the idea of the set.
We'll clear space on the wall!
Oh these are just wonderful, might we be getting a triptych print in time?
We hope this shittiness passes soon. But that this phase of your art lingers because it is absolutely stunning.
The final Calvin and Hobbes, which appeared in papers 30 years ago today.
Congratulations! You deserve it.
Fingers crossed for a quick and easy recovery.
Charly might have squealed a little at the cat pronoun reveal. The name will definitely be hyped.
Also this piece is beautiful.
Does the cat have a name though?

When I met my wife, I was constantly telling her not to get too attached because I wasn't sure I'd be sticking around very long.
Well, I lived along enough to see five years of marriage and hear my mom call me her daughter.
Oh this is so striking, we really love how you capture such energy, scale, and impact in pieces that have so much negative space.
Things You Can Make ChatGPT Write for You - Hayley DeRoche Your last words But before them What to murmur to a lover in bed What to say in the group chat when someone's Sister mother brother is dead and The apology you could never quite get right for a friend And hell why not make the robot compose your proposal Your wedding toast, too Your best friend's birthday roast You could ask it to write a custom lullaby For the baby snuffling at your breast. You can cradle to grave away Every warm human word You could ever have said And when they chisel your gravestone For your final rest We can ask ChatGPT Because it knew you best
Love it π
New column from me on why interstellar space travel will never, ever be a thing, and how it's kind of weird that they keep telling us otherwise:

Look, we're not saying that primarily we write out of spite or anything, but there is a fairly direct line between having to read hundreds of pages of dense, sexless mlm for book club and the five thousand words and counting of lesbian erotica we've written this week.
Oh that is really snazzy.
You don't suck, it's awesome that you're making these for folks, even if they are a little late.

The pleasure was ours. We're not surprised you were running a bit short seeing and hearing how busy you've been all over the event, but if you do ever want to ask more we will never pass up the opportunity to talk about it.
Thank you though, we tried to make them something succinct but whole.
A huge shout out to @khonri.com who ran this event with not just amazing prompts but some neat tech support in the form of the feeds and @muzetrigger.bsky.social for pushing us with questions so often throughout the month.
Thank you everyone who came with us, and sorry we're so antisocial.
#Septopolis wrap up.
We missed a few days at the end because our headspace and lack of ability to work to our own satisfaction in much but the written word. But overall we really appreciated the event, it was a lovely chance to walk through Castine again and find bits we'd never seen before.
