The oil companies win again, let’s all back renewables and blackmail the warmongers

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree on this. For me, all the time Labour have red lines about rejoining EU or joining either the CM and/or SM then any slight improvements on the Tory deal is just to keep remainers on side and it’s not really working.

Trump's conviction that Britain yearns for the rule of Nigel Farage wouldn't give you much faith that he knows what's going on in Iran.

Kuenssberg: it's impossible to report freely and fairly from inside Iran.

What's your excuse for not doing so in the UK, Laura?

Oh my, Call the Midwife, what can I say, thank you for the nostalgia, for going in on subjects deemed 'too hot' , you never flinched, went there anyway

Sunday nights will never be the same

Tonight was an emotional, brilliant finale.

The United Kingdom, our once Great Ally, maybe the Greatest of them all, is
finally giving serious thought to sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East.
That's OK, Prime Minister Starmer, we don't need them any longer -- But we will
remember. We don't need people that join Wars after we've already won!
President DONALD J. TRUMP

History lesson.

Our once great ally didn't come to our aid until 1917.

Our once great ally didn't come to our aid again until 1941.

'A total of 15 different companies have now paid Nigel Farage for his services away from Parliament since his election in 2024. It means his earnings have reached Β£1.4 million.'

Politics be 'b'uggered, Farage is in it for what he can earn from it.

Nigel Farage's views on women.

β€œMaybe it’s because I’ve got so many women pregnant over the years that I have a different view [of maternity leave].”

'Odd' how so many of our right wing extremists who hate Sharia law, restrictions on 'free speech' and migrants who don't learn the language have 'fled' to the UAE, with its Sharia law, tighter free speech laws - and of course they've not learnt the local language either.

I have always agreed we can’t just walk back in but we can commit to rejoining and enter negotiations to do so. Improving the terrible Tory deal is progress, but without the ultimate goal of rejoining it is just garnish

Totally agree in blaming the Tories & Farage, the referendum was introduced to save the Tory party not the country. Labour’s job is to oppose the Tories so they did have a choice and their red lines at the last election were not required

Nigel Farage and Reform UK are backing US farming, not British farmers.

Because they don’t understand British farming.

A better deal than an absolutely terrible deal is a small step in the right direction, but Labour are committed to Brexit. Their manifesto is clear on this

Your implication appeared to be that we shouldn’t negotiate to rejoin, as I said nobody is naive enough to think we can just walk back in

And again rich clubs who boast two international standard teams within their squad can’t be tired out by having to contest a replay. Heaven forbid
