Itβs been a while Bluesky!
Building my own journaling app is forcing me writing journals everyday and reflect on my days
I didnβt know it was such a good habit to do for your mind

Which app should I install on my 3 months old MacBook Pro?
btw I read about this stuff here: appfigures.com/resources/gu...
- changed keywords removing "text behind image" (again x3), and tweaking some others. removed also space after comma which enabled to add another keyword
Let's see how it goes, pretty sure there will be improvements
Yesterday I made some changes trying to improve ASO for Tebi - text behind image.
- Moved the name after the keywords so now is: "Text behind image - Tebi"
- Subtitle is now: Add stylish text to photo (prev: Easily place text behind image -> no need for text behind image again)
Iβm starting to understand more and more that the sweet spot for a SaaS is building a great software along with solving a valuable problem.
When the two are combined, users will love it
Ps is there a beta available somewhere?
I thought about it during 2024. I think itβs a bit more difficult than other languages to find a good project to start from
I chose swift which is very similar in some aspects
What are you using it for? OS models are extremely powerful but couldnβt find a way to use them in my workflow
Me too! Tons of new followers and 0 engagement π¦
Btw Tebi is the app I made for iOS, you can find it here: apps.apple.com/it/app/tebi-...
On Jan 1st Tebi reached $1k of revenue!
When I was building it I had one goal: cover the cost of Apple developer program ($100)
Just yesterday it made 10x that! π
Ps To avoid the issue I should have extended the offer to 48h to cover all the edge cases (Iβm not even sure this was the problem)
Being called scammer or not honorable is not nice. Itβs the price to be in B2C, I guess. But people need to start respect the work of others.
A 1 star review is the worst you can do to an indie dev. Especially if itβs not related to the app itself but to an offer you werenβt able to get.
On Dec 20th I launched Tebi on AppAdvice. The results? Incredibly good and surprisingly bad.
Incredibly good:
- 8k downloads
- 80 reviews/ratings
- excellent reviews
Surprisingly bad:
- 1 star reviews. Why? Because the offer expired and they couldnβt get the app for free.
Itβs done for me as well. Canceled last week.
There is no value whatsoever. It feels like talking to the void
In the last 3 days, I traveled to meet my family for the holidays and spent 2 days away from my MacBook.
Revenue in the last 3 days?
7$
Tebi still relies a lot on marketing and content I create (or not) every day
Eheh I knew it, it was just a matter of time π
Oh man I donβt know what you are doin but itβs fascinating
The first few days it made me dream some very weird and vivid stuff, now itβs doing its thing
What works (not always) for me is melatonin 1hr before sleep, drink an infusion while reading
It reduces stress and thoughts and improves the sleep. Itβs not always effective but couldnβt find a better solution yet
Very interesting. I will dig into this, it might be useful for creduse.com
I love APIs too! I built an API SaaS , creduse.com, and it gave me so much satisfaction
Agree! The agentic thing works pretty well and also you donβt have to think about which files to include since it scans the directory
Building something new
Calling all designers attention π¨
My appβs font are too basic and boring. I want to 10x them.
Shoot your favorite font ππ»
docs.cursor.com/advanced/ai-...
I believe is one of the most underrated feature of Cursor
Ahah thatβs a good idea. Thereβs a review section in the chat sidebar in Cursor. Check it out, itβs pretty good at identifying errors, improvements and so on
Pizza made last Saturday π
Iβm falling in love with Swift
