Back in Tokyo as of today🤘🏼
Once you get good tea, there’s no going back. I only buy tea here in Japan from one specific store (the owner of which has spent the last 30-40 years figuring out the best ways to brew it, and he’s very eager to share that knowledge).
That makes sense, when there’s less to go on. I appreciate it!
Is Letterboxd worth using? I’d like to the track films I watch and want to watch. Don’t know if I need a social element to that, or if I really need the list to be somewhere that could close or be deleted randomly later.
What do you use?
I’ll keep it under consideration!
I thought about tagging and asking you specifically, as I figured you had a system figured out. Apple Notes is probably what I’ll do.

I've taken photos of this utility pole and stapled flyers twice.
First on January 13th and then on January 23rd after ICE agents smashed their car into it. The agents got out of the car, got in a different car, tossed tear gas and sped off.

A "filter barricade" setup on Bloomington Avenue in Minneapolis. Saw quite a few of these today.
Those at the barricades have told me they're to bring community together and protect their neighborhoods by not allowing federal agents through if identified.

Support independent businesses. Frequent local restaurants. Be a part of your community. You need it, and it needs you.
Every vote, every action, every purchase has political and social consequences. Be smart, help others, abandon corporations.
I hope you’re okay!
Seriously, does anyone in Kyoto want an illustrator or English teacher? Or both?
You know that thing when someone gets into trouble and then they decide that the way they’re going to get out of trouble is by doubling down on exactly the kind of behaviour that got into trouble in the first place?
When countries do that it’s called patriotism.
This administration uses phrases like Heartland and Good Americans when they're compliant with murder and assault by 'law' agents.
Well, this is the heartland and these are good Americans and they are Not compliant.
Thanks for showing us the way, Minnesota.
Avid fan here✌🏼
Yup, gave them up several years ago and never going back!

I drew something else instead.

Congratulations!
I just got mine as well—I was able to prove I had my US for over a year (in reality much longer). Moving back to Tokyo this spring, so my use of it will be limited, but it’ll be good to have!

Want to read more books? A lot of people started 2026 with a desire to get back into reading more. More often. More books. Here's some ideas on how to get there.
Here we go. A new Armored Trooper VOTOMS in 2026, with Mamoru Oshii directing.
I’m really enjoying these!
I’m 6’2” and nearly every time I open Threads, I get ads for shoes with lifts to add 3.5” to my height.
“Invisible from the outside, undeniable in results” 🤔😂🤣
Jackson Lamb in Slow Horses (Apple TV) really feels like the role Gary Oldman was born to play. Just phenomenal.
