2/2 — SPIEGEL further reports that prior to the 30+5 deal, Germany was in talks with Spain, Greece and Turkey about a possible delivery of MIM-104 Patriot fire units and missiles to Ukraine, without much success.

1/2 — SPIEGEL reports that some nations that had originally committed to providing 30 PAC-3 missiles to #Ukraine have withdrawn their pledges. Ukrainian officials assume that at least the five PAC-3 missiles offered by Germany will be delivered. However, nothing has been officially confirmed.

Glad! Removed it for the current website because it was really too intense, but really missed it, so I had to do something about it.

The German government has financed and delivered 10 Volkswagen Amarok pickups and 3 Volkswagen Crafter vans to Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways), a state-owned railway company in #Ukraine, to support the company in responding rapidly after Russian shelling.

The local police force in the German city of Bonn is donating two urgently needed Ford S-Max police vehicles to its Ukrainian twin city of Kherson. The vehicles were handed over at the end of February and will be delivered to their new workplace in #Ukraine shortly.

Now think about where the Patriots came from (5 alone from Germany!) and how many they got. Now think about how many countries operate SAMP/T and from these countries, in four years of war, how many were given to Ukraine? Again, never ever 20 SAMP/T in Ukraine.

Ukraine will never operate that many SAMP/T fire units. Would be a surprise to me if they even get 10.

Correct.

In very limited capacity, they can intercept short-range ballistic missiles. Upgrade? You are probably talking about IRIS-T SLX. This is currently not an option for Ukraine and also just slightly improves ballistic missile interception capability AFAIK.

Im not aware of any total losses, but the Russians managed to damage some pieces of equipment yes.

2/3 — So far, Germany has delivered 9 IRIS-T SLM fire units including 27 IRIS-T SLM launchers and 18 IRIS-T SLS launchers to #Ukraine, with another 3 to 4 IRIS-T SLM fire units expected to be delivered throughout the year.

1/3 — The 223rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment has shared a new video which features longer and partly very detailed shots of IRIS-T SLM/SLS launchers, the TRML-4D air surveillance radar and the TOC of their IRIS-T SLM fire unit. It also includes several interceptor launches.

We finally got some new images of a Leopard 2A6 MBT in service with the 21st Mechanized Brigade. Germany has directly donated 18 of them to #Ukraine and contributed to the donation of an additional 3 from Portuguese stocks. In some images, you can also see a Swedish-donated Stridsvagn 122.

While the US & Israel are now carrying out military strikes on Iran, which is responding with military strikes of its own, I have one request for you readers & journalists. Don't forget #Ukraine. The past has taught us that Putin will take advantage of this & that attention can shift all too easily.

1/2 — Germany's Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Katherina Reiche, announced in an interview with the FUNKE Mediengruppe that #Ukraine is offering Germany large quantities of biogas.

1/2 — The German-Ukrainian association @ua-de.info recently collaborated with the association Meerbusch Hilft e.V. to send nearly 9 tonnes of aid supplies worth €122,000 to #Ukraine.

Based on the recent delivery of 20 high-power emergency generators to Mykolaiv and the surrounding region financed by the German government, I updated my infographic on carried out equipment deliveries related to the energy crisis in #Ukraine since December 2025.

The German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) has carried out a donation of a total of 20 generators to the Mykolaiv region. 10 will be used in critical infrastructure facilities in the city of Mykolaiv, while the other 10 will be used across the region.

According to a very recent update published by the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, by now a total of 20 generators with a capacity of between 66 kW and 110 kW have arrived in the Ukrainian capital from Hamburg.

2/2 — Ten generators already arrived in Kyiv last week. The donations from Hamburg will supply several thousand households and public buildings in Kyiv and the surrounding region with electricity.

1/2 — The German city of Hamburg is delivering 29 generators and suitable connection cables worth €500,000 to Kyiv. The Hamburg-based energy supply company Hamburger Energiewerke and other public companies in the region are contributing additional generators worth €120,000.
