Other place was great for us and kept us in business during Covid. Here obviously isn't same. We're lucky we've built a loyal base of people who buy our coffee - thank you! Isn't true for all particularly small artisits/independents who can't afford to advertise. Try to repost their stuff. It helps

I use Square for my small business. As of today, I am actively pursuing an ethical partnership to process my credit card payments. We will not be making Jack Dorsey any more money while he’s actively firing workers.

I’ve said it many times before but time to say it again. A massive thanks to the good people @foggynotions.bsky.social for bringing #Stereolab to the concert hall last night. It was fantastic. Those going to see them in Whelan’s tomorrow night are in for a real treat.
Stopped taking on wholesale customers a year and a half ago. We decided we were happy to stay a small business. Therefore we don't have opportunities to appear on more shop shelves. It's now all word of mouth. I guess this means this coffee is our unofficial tagline... imbibe.ie/collections/...

Started reading again after a 13 year twin sabbatical:). Have read some excellent books this last few months.
This is very different to TSB but thus far excellent and would recommend.
I’m holding a copy of ‘French Exit’ by Patrick Dewitt. Cover shows a drawing of a man with a jacket and tie sitting in a chair. There’s a woman standing behind him with a hand on his shoulder.
Haven’t read Patrick Dewitt since the excellent ‘The Sisters Brothers’ which feels a lifetime ago (pre children, they age you…)). Really looking forward to this.
It’s a pity ‘Lord of the Flies’ is the William Golding book people talk most about. It’s like if The Beatles were best known for ‘Magical Mystery Tour’. A significant work but certainly not their best. If you get a chance, read some William Golding.
