David Mitchell so good in this. I'm going to have to do that long overdue review of Ludwig. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZWS...

Utterly mad evening where I entered the Pen Factory quiz on my own, did badly to begin with, then was joined by a mad old Bumper colleague and somehow came fourth and won a Β£27 bottle of wine. youtu.be/Jrd25gjyDhE?...
Well it all worked out in the end. The Cup is better than the League, right? www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tig...
I've chosen this exact moment to watch Chernobyl. It's just like watchng all those Trump acolytes trying to explain something they can't explain.
Me, after that match tonight. Wolverhampton fucking Wanderers. And they play again on Friday. www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9KX...
Amused me in today's Rest is Entertainment when Richard Osman pointed out that all those barely famous influencers in Dubai are actually benefit scroungers. They're living off the state.
Finally in after doing two shifts in a row, starting at 11am (less travelling time) and finishing at 1am, during which I hardly ever sat down. That is easily the hardest working day of my life. And I bet it's not the last time I do it.
Looking forward to tomorrow (today now). Going to do an eight hour shift at Anfield, then DJ for six hours in town. With an hour transfer. Might be a bit knackered at the end of the day.
Following my victory last night, completely failed to win the Cambridge quiz tonight. Fourth, so didn't even get a runners-up prize.
Celebrating my inadvertent quiz win by watching Local Hero. Just a perfect film. Peter Capaldi such a goofy kid, although he still ran with the swept back wings 35 years later.
The seismic shock of my win also caused the Belvedere's roof to cave in.
Went to the shop and walked home past the Belvedere, when I realised the quiz was on. Wanting to see what it was like, I bought a pint and entered, on my own. Yep, to my utter embarrassment, I won. "Don't ever come here again," said a defeated quizzer. Don't worry, I won't.
Been to Mum's in slightly warmer weather. So naturally I sneezed all over her. I always sneeze when the weather changes.
After not working for a long time (a week and a half) have decided to do double shift this Saturday. This could be interesting.
Well. I watched half of Marty Supreme tonight. It's a long film. About Table Tennis. www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9gS...
TV Review β Mix Tape, RiotΒ Women
Be More Wire Let us divert for a moment to comment on the current state of quality TV. Itβs poor. Curtailed seasons are taking an age to produce, so much so that itβs years before a new season arrives. There are many faults with the last season of Stranger Thingsβ¦
Went back to Anfield today to return the key. Didn't want to waste the day so took a load of photos of the street art in the area. There's a lot - some of which is good, some of which is, shall we say, optimistic. Will post tomorrow.
A long one at the shift tonight, at an especially drafty gate. Still haven't warmed up. And because it went on so late, there were no buses so had to walk home alone. Sometimes, you do have to walk alone. And then I realised I still had the key so I'll have to go back tomorrow. Sigh.
Been a DJ for almost as long as Coldplay have existed. I can count the amount of requests I've had for them on one hand.
Love to know what dirt Chris Martin has on Radio 1. They're still playing Coldplay in 2026.
I was wondering what Small Prophets was. Although I am increasingly feeling like Michael Palin. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
Won Β£20. Between three of us.
Won the Cambridge quiz for the first time in a while, despite the guy writing the answers down not listening to me again. He didn't write down the all-important detail that they were injecting their penises.
TV Review β Black Doves, Agatha All Along, Down Cemetery Road, TheΒ Rainmaker
Up for the Challenge I didnβt know what to make of Black Doves (Netflix). I still donβt and Iβve seen it. It's a spy thing starring Keira Knightley as a fiendishly trained agent who also happens to be married to theβ¦
Looks like I'm going to have a literal Clem Fandango moment when I finally see Wuthering Heights. www.imdb.com/title/tt3289...
Wait, there's going to be a sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood? Directed by David Fincher? www.youtube.com/watch?v=ik0d...
I was at the ground again and didn't see anything. No reactions from people leaving, apart from one guy having a go at Mo Salah. But that last non-goal is comedy gold. Szoboszlai sent off for the first foul, the goal ruled out for Haaland's revenge foul on Szoboszlai. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZvj...
Great start to an article, The Post. Did you perhaps mean 'Every time'? I used to be a sub-editor, if you need help.
Oh man, the latest episode of Starfleet Academy is beautiful. From his non-appearence I thought A Certain Actor was dead and I hadn't heard about it. No, he's just retired but gave his permission to use that bit at the end. Hence the thank you.
