Framework was next choice, but I went with the stability of the Thinkpad line, they've support Linux for a really long time.
Also ended up being cheaper going for the Thinkpad, although not as upgradable, but figured I wouldn't be doing that much anyway in reality.

Went with a Thinkpad laptop, will be switching from Mac to Linux as my primary OS when it arrives.

Well that went well.

PHP/Laravel is definitely my goto, but I've been using NextJS/React for a while now.
Until Flux (for livewire), shadcn/ui for implementing design systems was a huge time saver.
