Admittedly, this trip was a poor financial decision. Paid for it when I thought I still had a consistent income, could’ve cancelled when I discovered I didn’t. But regret over spending too much money for a few weeks is temporary, regret over not living your life is less so. So I’m glad I did it.

今夜は少し気まずかった。小さくて活気のある地元のバーに行ったのに、私が入るとすぐに会話が途絶えた。皆が言葉の壁を越えて話しかけてくれたが、日本語はひどくて誰ともまともに話せなかった。数杯飲んだだけで帰った。それでも、皆が親しみを示そうとしてくれたのは嬉しかった。
今夜は友達とカラオケに行く予定だったんだけど、残念ながら途中で別れることになってしまって、結局行けなかったんだ orz
