Clangd: Use of GNU 'missing =' extension in designator
I especially love how the readme says it's written in ANSI C meanwhile it uses non-standard gcc extensions lmao
gotta say so far my absolute least favorite part of my operating systems course this semester is the utterly atrocious code style in the teaching OS (xv6) that we're using

nooooooooo I hope she gets better soon
my dorm complex from outside, it's so foggy you can barely see 2 of the buildings
Hartford Avenue on the UWM campus, Enderis Hall in the background is partially obscured by the fog

Sometimes I leave the room and come back to something like this

Various St. Patrick's Day themed cupcakes including one that's supposed to be a pot of gold but they used regular yellow frosting so it looks more like corn
OK look Metro Market I know this is supposed to be a St. Patrick's Day cupcake but it really just looks like a pot of corn
link to a Techmoan video, "Man spends 27:41 messing with two old compact Compact Cassette decks" but the thumbnail says 27:42
the aforementioned video actually opened where it is indeed 27:41 in length
it drives me insane that after well over a decade youtube still hasn't fixed the bug where the video duration sometimes doesn't match in different places
also I just think it'd be kinda fun to make a programming language using 3-valued logic instead of booleans
idk what the best grammar for these hypothetical 3-valued logic expressions/statements would be but something pattern matching-ish seems like the way to go, e.g.
a.compareTo(b) {
less => x();
same => y();
more => z();
};
e.g. in Java-like langs this is fairly common:
if (a.compareTo(b) < 0) x();
else if (a.compareTo(b) == 0) y();
else z();
you can avoid comparing twice by adding a variable but now it's even more verbose and frankly kinda ugly (I've seen people make the final else an else if to balance line length)
random programming language design thought I've had recently: integers are often used as a form of 3-valued logic by comparing them to 0 (particularly with comparators) and so it'd be interesting to have a language with some built-in facilities for working with that use case

I'm taking a compilers course this semester and in there I'm creating them from text ...oh no what have I done

A photo of a blue spread feral pigeon with feathered legs and feet stood outside on a railing in front of a window. She looks very round, and the feathers of her neck are messy and have a bit of unknown stuff on them, like cobwebs or something
Today's Americano, looking unusually messy
