I'm old enough to remember the dynasty years and "fans" were bitching about Fuhr. True story. And everyone wanted Billy Ranford out of town when he struggled in 1990 in the 1st round vs the Jets. It's almost tradition to shit on Oiler goalies.

Well, another game where the Oilers don't win 10-0. Time to blow up the team, make numerous trades, and obviously get different goalies in that we can blame.

I haven't researched this but I think Connor Brown has scored on 100% of his OT shots this season.

And if they do say anything it's usually a "wait till the real Stu shows up again " and then you hear shit all from them for the next six games or so.

My piss off is that there's so many "fans" that look forward to our goalies having an off game so they can jump up on their "I told you so" soapbox but say fuck all when they're rock solid, which is the majority of the time.

McDavid just got another 3 games added to his suspension because, as captain of the team, he's also responsible for fan behavior and that nacho thing is unacceptable.

Damn, we lost. We'll, I guess there's only 2 options now. Either we trade 10 players or go into rebuild mode.

Well obviously we have to blow up the team. Trade every goalie in the organization for Hellebuyck. We don't even need a back up then. If Bowman can't get Hedman and Werenski then what kind of GM is he. Get the top 6 from the Habs to make our bottom 6. So easy!

So, we win 8 of 9 and everything is great. We lose 2 in a row and now it's back to "bag skate them", "bench this guy", "we need a shake up", etc.

The goalie union has asked that any and all recordings of the Oilers/Panthers game be destroyed.

What this game lacks in structure, it more than makes up for in entertainment.

Zach Hyman is 1 of maybe 5 guys in the NHL that don't go down after taking a 95 mph to the face.

Fun fact: Oilers have lost only 1 game over the past 2 seasons in which Derek Ryan scored.

For all the shit Stuart Skinner gets, many tend to forget that he's one of the only full time NHL goalies that McDavid has never scored an official NHL goal against.

My personal opinion, these are the biggest oversights from each 4 Nations team:

Finland - Henri Jokiharju
Sweden - Rasmus Sandin
USA - Neal Pionk

So let me get this straight, the Oilers lose 1-0 and somehow there's those that are blaming our goaltending.

Another one of Ken Holland's acquisitions, Brett Kulak, continues his strong play. One of many moves Kenny made that made him the 2nd most successful GM in Oiler history.

I'm not that surprised that Georgiev looks sharp so far. His .826 save percentage in last night's game shows he's well rested from not making too many saves.

Janmark can't score on the partial breakaway. Somehow that was probably because of Stu's lack of lateral movement.
