THIS IS ADORABLE!😭
Alastor, Verosika & Sallie Mae honoring Vivienne Medrano
HAHAHHAHHAHA!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
❤️🙌🏻❤️ I looooove that Alastor gets to be front and center to celebrate women. KING LESBIAN!!! ONE OF THE GIRLS!!!! ❤️🥳❤️
Honorary gal,😌
You have nothing to apologize for!😤
Imagine showing this to someone who’s never seen the show😭
Instead of being beaten by the power of friendship, he’s gonna have the power of friendship beaten INTO him lol😭
Alastor needs to suffer more until he learns how to love (his friends)
Love the Truman Show inspired thumbnail but I’m scared of what it could mean😭
Like he’s trying so hard man, it’s not his fault!!!
Caine no one could ever make me hate you😭
With no intentions of changing for the better(morality wise), and that shouldn’t be discounted either. Great thread!
IS a common reality, and that doesn’t take away from his heartbreak and more human emotions, a big aspect of Hazbin Hotel is that no one is PURE anything, good or evil, and ppl are more complex and nuanced than that, but even with that acknowledged he’s still a heinous individual,—
This is an AMAZING thread. I really like Vox as a character, but I’ve definitely noticed an uptake in ppl babying him and downplaying his actions since s2 dropped. What makes him such a compelling and terrifying villain is that he’s REAL. The creepy, enabling, abusive CEO who gets away with it—
GETTING AWAY WITH IT: A thread on Vox’s most creepy traits and his role in rape culture 🧵
I NEED his furby organ to become canon😭
and yknow not everything is for everybody. I think that’s where content warnings and proper tagging is deeply appreciated in spaces like these
I’m a sucker for sweet, fluffy ship dynamics (I think it’s obvious if u follow me lol)
but I also find dark and toxic ships to be so sexy and interesting. Twisted fantasy can have really compelling stories. The puritanism and thought policing i see pisses me off
Yeah he’s keeping them all trapped and torturing them with his adventurous and overall just doesn’t have empathy BUT HES JUST A LITTLE GUY!!!
Noooooo Caine should never be sad😭
Ignores. Their situations are very different at the end of the day, they may have both “cheated”, but it was not in the same way or extent and there are reasons for that.
And this is definitely not meant to paint Alastor in this heroic light or to suggest he’s morally superior to Vox, I think I made it clear in my original thread that he very much isn’t. This is just once again meant to show more of the nuances of Alastor’s character that the fandom often misses or—
Vox has no chains, there’s no systemic system in place that specifically hold him back. And based on the flashback of them in the bar, he gained success and recognition fairly quickly. Again, this isn’t to completely discredit Vox as he does work and is ambitious.—
And like op said, Vox gained power in hell by…pretty much doing what he did in life. He exploits ppl, he takes advantage of them, he enslaves them, and Alastor does all this too, but at the end of the day Alastor is the one that had a leash around his neck and that had weighed on him for 90 years.—
And even though he hates being owned, he accepted the reality of his situation for 90 years until he felt he wasn’t getting what he was promised anymore. He even says this, “You can toy with me all you want, but you promised me power and now I’m lacking.” (Paraphrasing).—
So he FUCKING ENSLAVES HIMSELF to give himself an edge he’s never been able to have in life. Alastor is VERY aware that NOTHING in the world is free, and he paid the price for what he wanted even though it meant him being controlled indefinitely.—
Alastor, who at this point probably has VERY little information on hell and how it works given that we’re constantly shown in helluva boss that even the humans who DO know hell exists doesn’t understand it, has NO reason to think him just “working hard” like he’s been doing will get him that far.—
Career, he still was disrespected by his peers and his producers probably still looked down on him despite how hard he worked. Given all his life experience, why in the world would Alastor ever think that HELL would be more fair and easier for him to climb the ranks of and gain respect than life?—
Alastor was a black man from the Jim Crow south who COULDNT cheat his way to the top the way Vox did even if he wanted to. He had to be a lot more careful and select with his killings, and he had to work his way up the normal way, and even when he was given a chance and gained success in his—
