I just want y'all to know that if the weather suddenly turns freezing for magfest it is entirely my fault for saying "Since I won't need my boots for MAGFest..." out loud.

Heard Murphy laughing, saw the monkey's paw twitch, and yes, that is a shoe dropping thank you very much.

I am extremely headless chicken right now, but we did just bang out another new cosplay (Maribel Hearn, for my wife) in less than a week. WIP and pictures when we get back?

And it's time for MAGFest! I'll be performing with the orchestra again, as well as in the small ensemble showcase.

Got the lining sewn on, all the seams serged, and the zipper installed. Next up is the bips near the hem of the skirt and some other decorations, at which point what the cosolay is should be clear :)

(Probably press the hem and install the waistband at the same time because why not?)

So this guy was pretty much wrong about everything.

Started on a new cosplay this weekend.

Progress thus far: outer layer, liner, and mockup on one piece, mockup of a second (hence the scribbled note to give myself another 3" or so on the final)
