The last 4th of Z-A's story was fun, the endgame was good with a bit anticlimactic gameplay

Rust Syndicate and Corbeau are some of the best characters in Pokemon and I need them to make a comeback

Battle mechanics were very fun

Most of the story was a slog

Environment design was awful

5/10 game

it's almost always Guys On Youtube whom I see complaining about Dedenne, which says a lot :'D

People get really pissy over cute/competitively useless pokemon becoming popular and I can only assume a lot of that is rooted in misogyny (girls = cute therefore gamer guys hate cute)

TL;DR leave the cute little rodent alone, he did nothing to hurt you.

And for folks who don't know how to say Dedenne (of which there are a lot)

It's "Deh Den Nay"

Which is a play on "antennae"

Because it's whiskers are literal antennae which they use to communicate with each other

It's a fun design that actually has a purpose

Dedenne is a mix between a hamster and a Japanese doormouse. It was designed to appeal to the franchise's native audience. And it's fucking adorable.

I promise it won't come for you in your sleep, you don't have to complain about it lmao

Always funny to me when people get confused and borderline angry over how prominent Dedenne is in Pokemon. Like they forget it's a Japanese property and that different Pokemon are popular in different countries.
