A sheet with tipps and tricks on how to draw people standing in a natural contrapposto pose with one leg carrying the weight and the other one relaxing.

Time for some #FundamentalsFriday material! I started this year's anatomy course with my students and put together a lil sheet to make the contrapposto easier to grasp. For me, it took a long time to click because nobody ever told me where to put the weight bearing foot when I was in school 🙃

And they're done! I'm so happy with how this turned out. I'm starting to feel a little more confident in being able to produce finished illustrations in traditional media, not just studies. 😊This is watercolor + gouache., with a little bit of color pencil and pastel for final touches.
