My local spot closed this week. The place I went after the election, to be with people who get it. The place where I wrote essays, letters to voters, and even started a novel. The place I used to read at, but now I’m friends with too many people, so I just chat over an open book.

I have stopped reading and instead have begun consuming endless d&d content because I think I FINALLY got a crew together to play.

It depends on if the author makes me want to. At the extreme end there’s the author whose story is so compelling I would never waste time flipping.
On the opposite side is the author who has me confused so I’m looking for places to anchor the story every 4 pages or so.
Everyone else is in between.
