The new cdrama Whispers of Fate has some good tea scenes. Even tea pets! I suspect the tea pet is a cute model of the male lead, fox demon.

The weird find at Cascadia Tea Festival - Fireweed/ Ivan Chay processed/aged as puer and oolong. It is not puer. I wouldn't call it heicha either as there isn't camellia sinensis. Really neat teas - dark fermented flavor that caffeine free.

I've been watching "The Rise of Ning". Entertained by pufferfish poisoned puer cakes. The cha qi tingle gotta be crazy.
I can drink only lukewarm tea for awhile thanks to broken teeth and temp crowns. It has been weird tastes and pain due to temps and weird dental material in my mouth.
It appears a couple of tea vendors have or plan to up their prices by 10%. Some did it across the board, and others will do so for new teas. Totally get it and unavoidable, but it certainly is a shitshow of panic buying and non US buyers pissed off. And these packages will take forever.
Time for us folks near the border to get a Canadian PO box.

I drank 5g of matcha, mixed with super green prebiotic mushroom swill and frozen fruit, plus chugged cold brew concentrate. All to get through the day as I'm behind on sleep. The cold brew finisher was like getting woken up from an ice bucket challenge.

Mixed equal parts Sparkling Tea Blanc and Rose... it tastes like Rose with extra floral jasmine. Blanc tea flavor still a winner.
Found these sparkling teas at Trader Joes, which I have taken to a News Years party. The Blanc is better. It's got that refreshing green and floral flavor. The Rose oolong is more wine tasting. It is dry and herbal.

I'm watching the cdrama "Jiu Liu Overlord". Episode 20 the FL distracted a hostile tribe with a sack of green tea leaves they could buy at a bargain. Turns out, the tea got soggy and went off during their travels. However, the tribe loved it and the witty FL/ML, on the spot, named it pu-erh tea. Ha!
