New server as of today in Kansas City. My job gave me another server I will not be using it for crazy things though luckily the ram does work with my other server so I can add in some ram out of my 192GB on the first server. 👀✨

This is probably going to be the last update for awhile, the site is running fairly smoothly, and I’m happy.

Here are the last changes:

* Thumbnail generation in editor has been improved
* Post editing is more responsive and properly focuses elements
* The site no longer prompts upon closing

Got my renewal notice for yeen.host being 103.18 next year in February gonna see what domain provider I can swap to lower that cost. Probably gonna swap to Cloudflare instead of name cheap. Might as well put everything onto that.

All things have been coming out of pocket for this project but only way to make things be nearly outage proof reasons why I had to look into a cloud type provider for the main server for furry.watch. 3 outages in a few months is too much in my opinion so I had to do something.

Update to furry.watch and yeen.host -ing. Just got backup power for the servers is on the way to cut costs even more 6kwh in total next on the list is to get solar panels with my tax return to be net zero for power usage. This should be arriving around the 11th of December.

This is what I use to tell if service is down for anything and get it back up and running as soon as possible.

All services are down currently due to a cloudflare outage. We do not have an estimate time of recovery currently but it says a fix has been implemented

Have an estimate of 2 hours roughly though that’s with us using a heater since it’s a bit chilly.
