@liaizon i think that laptop is more dead than just a broken screen, but i also need a computer that can have two large discs in RAID1 config plus a third for the os. not sure how external HDs work with something like an old mbp

Something that just occurred to me for the first time but I guess is really obvious: Javascript is the only common language that has to maintain true backwards compatibility while getting new features.
