Trump used to say that Obama and Biden would start a war with Iran to distract from their political woes and retain power, betraying his own cynical thinking, and indeed that’s what he’s done. He has continuously told his enemies what he intends to do and they have continuously failed to stop him.

Be interesting to see how long they let Starmer stay in the hot seat taking the flak before they have their ‘euphoric change of leadership and direction’ to try and salvage the remains of the party.

Amazing news to wake up to, and I’m so happy for Hannah, Zack and all those involved in helping her achieve this.
It will likely mean people are going to start treating the Greens as a serious threat, and the attacks, smears and dirty tricks will intensify across politics and the media.
The Greens are going to win. They're going to show that you can win despite all the media hating and lying about you.
They are going to show so much of what we've been fed our entire lives in this country is just pure bullshit.

This is deeply troubling, it is actually lying to voters. Did you approve this? Do you feel the Labour Party in government should be held to different standards in terms of honesty to the British public? In your last letter to me you mentioned your ‘very extensive data’ and ‘having spoken to over a third of eligible voters’ which led you to an understanding that the by election ‘was a contest between labour and Reform’. Clearly this latest development only tells voters one thing - you will employ any type of political deception (or in Urdu “Dhoka” ) to win. You will be very aware that all three real tactical voting organisations are recommending a vote for the Greens as the best way to stop Reform. Lying to the voters, as you have been caught doing, raises the real prospect that Reform will be the beneficiaries, something you have said that you don’t want. I don't doubt there's a contingent who wouldn't vote for a woman but many voters rejected Clinton & Harris because of their politics, strategy and record. Folding in gender as the main explanation lets them off the hook. If AOC was to run she'd need to distinguish herself on substance like Mamdani.

His defence seems to be 'he can't remember' being gifted as much as £75,000 by a close friend, and that until JP Morgan (under whose steam?) proves the files are authentic he'll cast doubt on it... Seems... flimsy.
It unfortunately seems to work quite well for the government of Israel.
