This allows you to, the moment you look at a repo, immediately adjust your expectations.

4. Board Members Positions and Responsibilities

The 3D Analysis SIG is administered by six Board members. The Chair provides coordination for the group. The Chair is responsible for making sure that the SIG’s activities are planned effectively, conducted according to the CAA-International constitution and that matters are handled in an orderly, efficient manner. They must be willing to commit a not insubstantial effort to the building of the community over the duration of their tenure.

Apart from the Board’s Chair the remaining 5 positions have undifferentiated roles, to be further attuned by the newly elected board. Board members are expected to share steering responsibilities and workload as much as possible. All Board members act as representatives of the 3D Analysis SIG community in CAA International conference meetings and activities. They are expected to attend the CAA-International and National Chapters conferences to the best of their ability and work in connection with the relevant CAA-International committees to actively promote and coordinate the 3D Analysis SIG activities.

At least one position on the Board is reserved for a PhD student. Candidates should indicate whether they opt for the Chair position.

Geographic diversity is encouraged to enable broad international participation, and presence in forthcoming CAA International conferences.
