This makes no sense and it is disgraceful and incomprehensible that this is the president of the United States, with lethal force at his disposal, communicating in wartime.
It’s hackneyed now but it should never be: don’t normalize this.

I cannot stress enough that another power - Russia - has been attempting to 'war crimes its way to victory' for *four years* now against a country less than a quarter of its size or economy and failing.

Again, for emphasis: russia has not agreed to ANYTHING. Nearly 100% of the media coverage presents the current situation as: if Ukraine agrees to giving up Donbas, there will be peace. That is not the case! Stop acting as if it were.

The GW Bush “dream team” (yes, they were called that) took us into what historians recently named the worst foreign policy decision in US history in Iraq. Terrifying to think about how this will play out with the mad king and his team of idiots and craven sycophants.
Given constraints on munitions & logistics, I expected US to launch limited Iran campaign. Trump has instead announced most expansive goals imaginable: regime change, destruction of conventional military + end of nuclear ambitions. Unclear how US will square this circle.
