why the requirement for windows?

the UI Slider component has an OnValueChanged UnityEvent, tldr just have that call into your udon script and update the sync'd variable accordingly, granted you'll want to make sure you transfer ownership and limit the update calls to not clog up the network

Nothing wrong with that, I don’t see Mixfall being strong for discovery at first because it’s such a new platform, we’re targeting the niche of people who want to put their sets on a place without spending a relative arm and a leg each month.

Keybinding is not as straightforward as VDJ imo, but I love how you can write js code to handle custom logic. I was able to setup my crossfader waveform zoom control after reading a bit of documentation

If you already have a good grasp on data types, nullability, and static vs instance, you're probably past the largest confusion point that beginners have. modern C# is kinda amazing with how simple it can be

oooh i see. yeah if it were me i would do this in C# (mainly because I know how I'd build it). Would your impl be a local website that only you can access, or a public site people would use to manage? or alternatively a desktop application that doesn't use the browser

I genuinely believe C# is one of the best languages you can pick in regards to maintainability, performance, resources, and ecosystem for pretty much any task other than web and machine learning.

From a beginner perspective it's almost always going to be user, but it still depends on what you want to do/make.

As per the terms of service, you should have all the rights to upload any content you present on the site. There are multiple channels for submitting DMCA takedown requests if any entity believes their content has been improperly uploaded, as the owning entity of Mixfall is based in the US

it wouldn't be a service launch without an inconsistently appearing bug breaking the page for a small subset of users with no useful error message : D

Btw i would not really consider myself a web developer, but i think i did okay. Web dev for me is a means to an end

Right now the only analytic available is the view/play count, but thank you. I wanted to provide a not terrible listening experience even if you dont have a membership

1. That’s a good idea, in terms of the roadmap I want to prioritize what people want, so I’d definitely love to implement trackable analytics for uploaders in the future
2. At the moment, there’s no lossless streaming, but the HQ audio is exactly the same as Soundcloud’s HQ audio, 256kbps AAC
