The buyout/bleedout of Bartell Drug stores is a slow motion Seattle tragedy. It’s one thing to find a place suddenly boarded up overnight, but to watch a it slowly empty out, aisle by aisle, week after week, the drained employees… it’s cruel. Just shut them all down already. Have some mercy.
