Haiti's terrain has been changed dramatically with an innovation from a Haitian scientist who found a way to make building in Haiti more durable, keep the water at bay and mitigate the impact of earthquakes dramatically. Mining has been done in a sustainably safe (although still ecologically risky) way and the Taino people have been given directions on what areas to not impact or deface as solar becomes a dual-nation effort to secure and protect. Hispaniola becomes more resilient and supports Cuba in its support efforts in exchange for its medical and education retrofitting support. No one knows her name due to how thorough the wiping of her existence has been (you have to dig to get people to talk about her).
