Small #gamedev trick, let's say you have an effect happening over 10 ticks, and each tick it has some chance of doing something.
Instead of trying to balance the chance of it happening every tick, define the chance of it happening at least once over 10 ticks and instead calculate the former.
my condolences
I'm in this video :)

It was surprisingly fast, I think a lot of shaders got touched because I upgraded unity, but had few enough substantial changes to not need that much updating.
Either that or the 9950x is just that good
Shader Shader Graphs: preparing variants (0M / 0M)
Shadergraph has a tendency to create way too many variants, but this is the first time I've seen "million" as the suffix :|

"Why do people say "I'm not Hungry" then eat your food" by "AI vs AI Debate Podcast. The thumbnail sports a 3x2 grid of images representing the different AIs: - Grok - A stretched image of a broken robot with red and blue lights instead of eyes. - Chat G.P.T. - A stretched image of a metallic man in a suit. NExt ot the name it says "Score: 72" - Gemini - A stretched image of a robot with a broken face and body - DeepSeek - An image of a half-man, half robot with a red eye. The image is not stretched. - Claude - A stretched image of a White robot with a few pieces missing - Host - A stretched image of a very humanoid robot wiht red and blue hair
I just got the most cursed Youtube recommendation. There is just so much wrong with this that I don't know where to start.
People have been doing that for ages
itch.io will either have a huge win, or massive blunder
Oh yea, I backed this on Kickstarter, cool
niko is one of those characters I'm expecting a lot more people to have seen & interacted with, than that know the source material of. Same with the soup store joke from code MENT.
Though it will obviously happen to some degree, since it's difficult to know the source material *without* seeing niko
ooo, I didn't notice the link, lol
What's the original painting?
Pie chart over the combined Page & Gallery views per major character. Siffrin 253948 views Loop 88780 views Isabeau 61784 views Odile 6021 7 views Mirabelle 55460 views Bonnie 45332 views The King 31474 views Head Housemaiden 17276 views
The in Stars and Time wiki is now 2 years old, so I checked the analytics! Over 172k people have visited the wiki, viewing pages over 1.7 million times.
Siffrin's Gallery is the most popular page on the wiki, followed by their info page, and lastly the front-page of the wiki itself.

I had the WR in speedrunning this at some point, t'was fun
I think I've played demos of half a dozen similar games. Sometimes I wonder if people just never check out what other games exist despite working in the games industry.
Not that making games similar to other games is bad, but there's so much to learn from seeing how other games did something.
My guess is that it originally awarded it each time you completed the level, but was only tested by single run playthroughs and left like that. Then much later somebody discovered that completing it multiple times added extra percentage, so they tried to fix it by only making it count them once.
A game using a blue background with mario style clouds and sonic ground, with a red and white bird crashing into a mario pipe. The title text shows FlappyFlyer, and beneath it "HI: 72" and "SC: 72"
The highest I got while also listening to a meeting was 72
The image is split in two. The top shows a Wanted poster with Luigi's face on it, 4 stars, and a Timer with 7 seconds left. The bottom shows a lot of Mario character faces, with Luigi hidden between them near the top center.
I recreated the Find Luigi / WANTED minigame so you can play it in a web-browser: itr13.github.io/findluigi/
Works on phone too!

You can right click the image to copy it btw :)
Looks cool!
