yeah my teachers growing up were either first-time teachers with no experience or teachers nearing retirement who were dealing with curriculums that they had no choice but to teach. they ultimately did nothing but teach kids how to pass an exam and not actually absorb any information
remembering how bad the education system was when I grew up in South Florida and realizing how much worse it’s actually going to become
we’re raising a new generation of kids who will not know how to fundamentally read or understand history in a way that they’ll actually care about, scary as hell
