Two years ago today, I turned a corner in New York City and saw this. Once the terror subsided, I asked him if I could take a photo. In classic Michael Myers form, he just stood there, so I took that as a yes.

A friend once gave me his copy of Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Left Hand of Darkness, which quickly became one of my favourite ever books.
Now, when I come across a used copy of Denis Johnson’s Train Dreams, another one of my favourite books, I buy it and give it to a friend.

Am I right to remember that there were shop adverts at the back? I'm sure it was Mean Machines where I saw an advert for used copies of Sonic 2 and Ecco the Dolphin on Mega Drive. I begged my Mum to call and order. It worked.
I hit that same screen last night at 41 hours. Incredible game.
It's so sad to see them make such a mess of what was once an awesome franchise. I have such good memories of playing the original games with friends, and we've been excited about this.

I also saw that in my RSS app this morning, and I almost shared the same screenshot. I understand that there's ad revenue to be earned, but surely there's a better and more respectful way than this.
I love using RSS to get a curated news feed, but I cringe when I see this kind of thing.

This is quite the nostalgia trip, and the Wave Race 64 soundtrack is brilliant. Despite the slow trickle of songs being added, Nintendo have done a good job with this app. It’s a shame it’s tied to Nintendo Switch Online, but it’s worth checking out if you have a membership.
