Impeachment and conviction • Requires House majority + 2/3 Senate • Won't happen with Republican control 3. He dies or resigns • Won't resign (ego won't allow it) • Death is the only realistic exit
HISTORICAL PRECEDENT: Woodrow Wilson had a stroke in 1919 and was essentially incapacitated for his last 18 months in office. His wife ran the country. He was never removed. Ronald Reagan showed clear dementia symptoms in his second term. He stayed in office until the end. The system has NO effective mechanism for removing a mentally unfit president who refuses to leave. THE TERRIFYING TRUTH: Trump could be functionally brain-dead and still be president as long as: • His handlers can prop him up for photo ops • Someone else signs the executive orders • Republican leadership protects him • His cult base refuses to acknowledge reality
SO WHEN WILL HE BE "RENDERED TRULY UNFIT"? Medically? Possibly already there. Definitely within 6-24 months. Politically? Maybe never. The system is broken. 3. The only realistic scenarios for removal: 1. He dies 2. His decline becomes SO catastrophic that even MAGA can't deny it (unlikely) 3. Republicans decide Vance as president serves them better (possible) The 25th anniversary of 9/11 this year is especially chilling because we could have a president with severe dementia making decisions about war, nuclear weapons, and national security. That's the nightmare we're living in.
