Just shipped a big fix to the "thumbs down/not interested" button and did some updates to the algorithm so it's way more responsive to the things you like and the folks you follow :)

I think you’re totally right that it’s going to look different than it did with Twitter but I think it’s actually better for open social.

Twitter and Bluesky are mutually exclusive in a way that TikTok and Skylight are not!

This is much more of a “wherever you get your podcasts” situation

Currently, yes. But we really want to be global! Our focus has been the US because of the TikTok sale here.

Once our app is a bit more stable, we'll open globally!

With the huge caveat that we have to be able to afford servers 😅

Do you happen to be outside the US?

We're having this bug where Google Play is allowing folks to download the app, but it won't startup because we're only offered in the US currently.

Hope to be global soon though!

We're super excited to see so many folks adopting Open Social! No where to go but up! 📈

Not yet, but we'd like to integrate a shop in the future :) quite a few folks have been asking about this!

But it will most likely look/feel different than TikTok's style of shopping.
