Our little guy is worn out from his routine bloodwork today to check on his pituitary tumor (don’t worry it’s being maintained with meds, so we just have to go in occasionally and make sure they’re still working). I have been enjoying hanging out with him on the couch this evening and crocheting.

Welp. Now that I’m home I saw news that 5 players on the US team didn’t go to the White House. That tells me Matthews could have also chosen not to go. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt and wondering if they were required to go but it seems not, so now I feel even more disgusted.

Yeah, I’m not happy about him going at all, honestly. And he’s in a better position to get his mother and father to safety than most of us, so it’s really hard to even try to understand. Then again the Sens let Tkachuk on and we see what he’s like so…I’m at a loss. Very disappointed.
