Naturally @nelsonlflores.bsky.social is heavily cited. 🤩
Oooh I wrote an article about this! I talked with teachers about what “real worlds” they feel called to linguistically prepare students for & how critical theories on language/literacy can help (re)center flexibility, choice, & expansiveness in their teaching! www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
This list of ELL/EAL/ELT/ESL educators is at 250 and growing. It's a great feed! Let me know if you want me to add you to it. You can see names by looking under "About" bsky.app/profile/did:...

Thank you for sharing! And congratulations to your sister—the book looks great!
Will you be at #NCTE24? Come by 104C on Thursday at 1pm to hear from authors and editors of our ✨NEW BOOK✨ Translanguaging Perspectives on Writing Practice & Pedagogy! See you there!
Speaking for the US, that depends on the state! Lots of great programs all over. I’m partial to our little program in South Jersey though.
“…what we ask, and what this special issue more broadly asks, is that educators seek a balance between the often reductive ‘real world’ and the more expansive, future-oriented dreaming that is needed to envision and enact critical, responsive translanguaging pedagogies.”
Excited to share this just 1 day before I leave for #NCTE24! Cati and I were honored to write the intro to the special issue of English Journal titled “Decentering the E in ELA”. 🤩 Lmk if you need access. Hope to see some of you in Boston!
My first bluesky post! If you are going to the NCTE Annual Convention in Boston and you are interested in translanguaging and literacy, please come to our sessions :)! #translanguaging #bilingualed #literacy
I’m still getting acclimated here but there are some lists going around. I’ll keep my eyes open!
Hi I’d love to be added to this great list. Thanks!
