What is the correct way for me to react to this attempt at social group reification?
Reacting to other answers... my practice of "liking as ~purely giving a friendly signal to the author of what I liked" (like "liking replies to let the author know I finally read/replied and it shouldn't be on my to-do list anymore") produces weird algorithmic results on Twitter?
I was hearing people say that the right play was "talk like a hippy, act like a vicky" as far back as ~2012. Just as there's no profit in slut shaming (nor in being a slut), tech parents often allow their kids ~0 unsupervised screentime.

On Twitter, "Following" is useful, and I explore "For You" now and again. Eventually it starts serving "viral bullshit" and I return to Following. On Bluesky, these feeds are Home tabs and I go from left to right (top to bottom (almost never getting to Discover)) seeking good conversations, "daily".

OpenAI is technically a non-profit (albeit run by profit hungry oligarchs). Anthropic is NOT a non-profit. Over the long haul, incentives would/should predictably filter their internal cultures to match their corporate forms and nonprofit and/or fiduciary duties... right? 🤷♀️⚖️📉📈

What do you mean by ""thinking""? I often come to valid conclusions without the inner monologue helping. Sometimes my inner monologue tries to justify it... And fails? Other times (often around math) linguistic processing seems to *cause* correct conclusions. Is one ""thinking"" and the other not?
