Tutorial on how to set up a custom domain as your handle using DNS records, featuring various screenshots of the site. Text: 1. Go to Bsky settings 2. Click "Change Handle" 3. Click "I have my own domain" 4. Type in your domain 5. Enter this into your domain config panel (Screenshot showcases the config that bluesky provides) like this (Screenshot shows the config being input into the domain config panel of my provider) 6. Click "Verify DNS Record" and "Update to <domain>"
Just sharing something i just found out:
If you have a domain, you can easily use it as your Bluesky handle. All you need to do is add a TXT record to your DNS, or put a text file on your website. Took me less than 2 minutes to set up! Click Settings>Advanced>Change Handle>I have my own domain
