How old, you ask? Oh, almost 19 years ago and 2500 miles away from where I stand today. The call-and-response of the lead guitar and the sax is possibly my favorite part of this song.
I recorded a version of this song a long time ago. While working on this remake earlier this year, I found some old saxophone recordings from Daniel Johnson that never made it on the other version.
I’m proud to announce the release of “With My Hands on the Ground”. This is a good song and an old song. It’s possibly a little different than my other recent tracks but it sprang from the same well of inspiration and magic.
