I logged into Twitter because someone was trying to hijack my old accounts and I can barely recognize it now. I see a bunch of folks talking to something called Grok, lots of fake images/videos and lots of Musk/rich people worship. I don't feel as bad for ignoring it for the past couple years.

Got a question for artists w/ day jobs. I’m having blank page syndrome really bad. I can’t start writing or doing creative things despite REALY wanting to. My day job kind of drains my energy so by the time I get home I’ve got nothing left for me. Any advice on how to jumpstart one’s creativity?
typo… feel* free 😩
I really do need to break things down into smaller goals. Because I keep staring at mountains of things and unintentionally get overwhelmed.
Wha… what’s an… off day?! 🥲
(just playin’ 🙂)
Not having high expectations for myself is even harder than staring at a blank page 😂 But I’m working on it.
I used to easily start stuff and enjoy the journey, but lately I keep talking myself out of trying new things and I hate it. But can’t muster the energy to try. Few free to ignore me and my existential quandaries.

I’ve found that the very thing some folks love about you, they hate when they realize you can’t turn it off.
The amount of times folks have either romanticized my neurodivergence or told me to “just” do stuff is staggering.
Ah to have a neurotypical brain for a day, to “just” do stuff, without any problems. That must be what they call “living the dream.”

High Priestess Tarot Card An image of a woman in a blue dress seated upon a throne with moon symbols on it looking down imperiously. She is surrounded by stones, gnarled trees and a stone circle behind her head. Her hair moves as though it's being blown by a strong wind or moved by ocean currents. Her dress flows into a waterfall that turns into a pool that flows into the foreground.
Let's try this again! Incredibly excited to be a part of Infected by Art 14! After many years of trying I finally did it! thrilled to get to share this with so many other amazing artists.

I'm getting back on the convention circuit. It's been a while since the pandemic that I've vended to more than 2 cons in a year, & the drop in book sales shows. So far I have 7 confirmed festivals/book shows I'm attending locally & hope to do 12 (1 a month). Here's to getting out of my comfort zone.

There's a possibility that we might not be forgiven for our transgressions. Yet we must strive to grow and be better people and use what we learn to guide others from making the same mistakes.
We'll all be or have been problematic at some point in our lives. The question is what we do when we're confronted.
Do we run & hide? Do we lie? Do we bully? Do we deflect? Or do we acknowledge our wrongs & actively work towards being better people? Not doing the later is what gets folks in trouble.
As a Millennial I got to watch my grandparents, parents and cousins in different generations deal with their share of issues and am noticing the limiting beliefs we all were indoctrinated with and choose to grow by listening to those who saw/see value in community and liberation from oppression.
