The 80s superhero would be a gritty look (a bit like Hellblazer). At the moment I’m just looking for portfolios so I can shortlist suitable candidates :-)

Thanks for the message. Both stories are very different and I’ll be asking shortlisted artists to pick 3 characters from the story they would like to work on. I’m open minded to the style - I prefer to see what people come up with based on the character and overall story descriptions.

I’ll be paying for the shortlisted designs :-) Last time I did this I selected 5 artists to do paid character designs

That will be up to you. I’d prefer character designs for main characters and maybe a scene for final decision (all paid for). But first I’m only interested in portfolios :-)
