Patch notes for a Steam beta branch release of patch 1.05 of DELTARUNE for PC/Mac.
DELTARUNE Patch 1.05 is now optionally available on a Steam beta branch. Access it using the beta branch "deltarune105".
DELTARUNE has been updated to version 1.04 on all platforms. Changes are attached.
1.05 only contains minor changes. We have no other patches planned at this time.
DELTARUNE has been updated to version 1.03 on all platforms. This time it includes a couple gameplay adjustments. We are working on submitting 1.04 now.
We wanted to release this patch simultaneously on all platforms, but Nintendo Switch took two weeks for approval... The next patch has already made its way through testing and contains some miniscule gameplay improvements in addition to bug fixes. We will release it when we can.
Patch 1.02 for DELTARUNE is now live on all platforms.
DELTARUNE has now been patched on consoles. This brings them up to date with PC's second hotfix patch.
We are aiming to release another bugfix patch for both consoles and PC next week.
DELTARUNE Hotfix Patch PC & Mac Version v1.01C We are releasing a hotfix for PC & Mac to remedy some issues occurring in the game. You can confirm the version number on the bottom right of the file select screen. Changelist Ch3 v.0.0.089 - Fixed crashes relating to Shadowguy's Sharpshoot ACT. Ch4 v.0.0.088 - Removed key combinations that caused various issues across the game. - Fixed a crash relating to talking to an NPC when it's raining. - Strengthened imagery while maintaining a scene's intended meaning. - Fix of trapped out the closet. We will begin the process of issuing the previous patches (1.01A and 1.01B) to consoles soon. The next patch will take longer and address non-fatal bugs. After that, we will take some more time to consider other adjustments.
Another hotfix patch for PC&Mac. Next we will try to get some of these fixes to console. The next patch after this will take a bit longer.
DELTARUNE Hotfix Patch PC&Mac Version v1.01B We are releasing a hotfix to remedy some issues occurring in the game on PC&Mac. You can confirm the version number on the bottom right of the file select screen. Changelist Ch3 v.0.0.088 Fixed a softlock where you can get teleported to the Green Room during the battle with one of the final bosses, and be permanently unable to progress if you save. (This fix prevents the issue from happening again, but unfortunately if you had this bug occur, your save file will still be broken.) Fixed a softlock where the raft could get stuck in a wall. Fixed a crash if you lose to the first miniboss with zero points. Fixed a depth issue with a black tile. Some players’ computers are not compatible with the method of video display in Chapter 3. if you reach a cinematic which crashes or freezes your game, returning to that scene once more will give you the option to skip it. Fixed a bug when receiving a prize for attaining the highest rank. After defeating a certain boss, if your inventory is too full to receive the armor in the chest, a treasure chest will be placed into the Green Room. Ch4 v.0.0.087 Fixed an issue where the game would crash when loading a file from Chapter 3. Fixed a crash with a scene that could happen at the end of an area. Fixed an issue of trapped in the closet. We are aware of many other remaining issues, so we will be issuing one last hotfix patch soon! After the next hotfix is on PC, we will generate a patch for consoles.

Changelist Ch3 v.0.0.087 - Fixed a common crash in a room with a lot of screens. - Fixed a crash when a certain boss tries to summon enemies. - Fixed a freeze involved talking to a character after getting off of a raft. - Fixed a freeze when checking binoculars. - Removed a visible debug message. - Fixed a crash involving picking up grass and swapping characters frame perfectly. - Fixed a part where you can erroneously enter an empty room. - Backtracking to a puzzle after attaining a special armor no longer crashes the game. - Added a failsafe if you don't have audio output during rhythm games segments. Ch4 v.0.0.086 - Fixed an issue where pressing up on the keyboard was required to move out of a present, regardless of key binding. - Made a small graphical alteration to a certain scene. We are aware of many other remaining issues, so we will be issuing another patch soon! After everything is hotfixed on PC, we will target consoles next. (Getting patches approved takes time, so we want to include as many fixes as possible at once.)
We have uploaded our first hotfix patch for DELTARUNE on Steam! Steam should update the game automatically, all you have to do is launch the game again after. Now, back to fixing the next set of bugs...
