After 9 yeareals, it's finally my turn to post the "a thousand cereals" clip, seeing as how I'm the idiot who made it.

the secret to game design is that as much as players may claim otherwise they all love choosing one out of three things

I could easily point to like, anything, from Undertale but to skip the common answers I'm going to go with: stepping away from the table in Inscryption. The way that game keeps pulling your head further and further back as you go through the layers of it is just incredible
A tall enemy that resembles a bee, with the protagonist standing beneath them, in Hollow Knight: Silksong
A condition took away the use of my hands. Silksong helped me rehab them

homebrewing a 3DS action game and lacking any ideas for what to use the bottom screen for it just shows you randomly chosen soup recipes
The best games of 2025 give a glimpse into a better world — where artists can invite audiences into their memoirs, where AAAs are thematically ambitious and small teams can sculpt epics.
This is also my 100th(!!) proper video on YouTube, a milestone seven years in the making

Credits for Brent Porter (3D art lead) and Catherine Menabde (2D art lead) are shown here. There's a lengthy description of what they did, with a pastiche of various Demonschool characters underneath, messing around with a computer.
We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
When will Windows let audio work. You plug in a controller and it whispers "you will never hear anything ever again, pig" directly in your ear as everything shuts down for no reason. If you try using VR the sound starts coming from your car. Editing in two windows? Audio plays backward, fuck you.
if there were any justice in this world deltarune would be up for best score on the merits of Third Sanctuary alone

Finally had a chance to go properly rock climbing and yeah that's something you could make a whole personality out of
As someone who took a rare day off for Deltarune 3+4, it's fits pretty nicely into a one-day bite-sized chunk!
Watching the Undertale 10th Anniversary, it strikes me just how reverential Toby is for the games that came before him. It's really refreshing to see someone wear their inspirations on their sleeve and really affirming that you can, just, make stuff that feels like the stuff you loved
My big project this year (so far) was releasing a new website for the Uplift Games studio! www.uplift.games
Very proud of the work we were able to get done in time for RDC. Excited for y'all to see what else we've been cooking for out out-of-game work!
Refusing to use the compass in Silksong because I'm just built different (I crave trinket slots)
BREAKING: Silksong will be out on September 4. Two weeks from today. Really.
Often, games that take 7+ years to make are plagued by mismanagement and painful burnout. But for Silksong? Team Cherry was having a blast. They still are.

Bare minimum for holding a conversation: Rom the Vacuous Spider, Living Failures, Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos, Mergo's Wet Nurse, Orphan of Kos, Moon Presence, Darkbeast Paarl, Kos or some say Kosm, Plant eyes on our brains to cleanse our beastly idiocy,
Hey! New article! This one's about the history of first person shooters, what makes 'em work, and why I like the shooters I like. It's also me lamenting how they've died, and talking a bit about why I want to go ahead and make one.

What were the previous models you used? I've considered getting a walking pad but didn't want to shell out for the pricey models if I wasn't sure how much I'd use them!
A lot of local libraries will offer services like that! I used it for some SP platformers on the Switch when I did feel like dropping $60
Hello.
It's almost been 10 years since UNDERTALE released.
Now, I'm looking for your memories.
Let's turn back together.
Face the flower and speak.

it's hard to describe what playing the first deltarune release was like because it was an executable called "SURVEY_PROGRAM" and only gradually does it dawn on you that this isn't a one-off joke but that you're playing a full-size undertale sequel
Deltarune............................................................ tomorrow!
