Will you adopt me? I don't know how much longer I can take everyday feeling like a decade. I've begun calling them daycades.
@empirenine
Amazing atheist, bad Buddhist. Begrudgingly accepting, the stress of the Trump admin. is making me physically sick, and might for years π€ My immune system is already so lousy, it can't cope with all this extra stress. I miss boring governance, so much.
Will you adopt me? I don't know how much longer I can take everyday feeling like a decade. I've begun calling them daycades.
I just woke up and my brain has not fully booted up yet, and for a second I thought to myself is that bird making three reflections? Then I realized there were two birds and life made more sense again.
My first mobile was also the Motorola StarTAC, lolol. I've owned at least five of those phones, six if you include the blackberry. Never did have an iPhone. #StarTAC4life indeed, lol.
You're right, it probably will be Iran, somehow there will be information that is absolutely mission critical to National Security considering our "significant military action" with Iran, I wouldn't doubt it at all, smdh.
I can barely get a new laptop to last more than a few years, but that old machine. I bet it still boots and everything. I miss when stuff was built like a tank and you could do percussive maintenance on it.
Someone has to ask Pam Bondi, now that the DOW is under 50K, as that was what she mainly wanted to talk about last time she was called before Congress, can we please see the files now? Or does she have a new excuse?
I have that one, it doesn't list all the satellites. Some of the ones over my house are definitely military. MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa houses US CENTCOM. Tampa is just a bit North and West from Miami. Satellites crossing there you would see from here. Many of the ones I see are unlisted.
I briefly had my dog in doggy daycare ~20 years ago, (thought it would be fun for her, guess it was, she herded other the dogs around, asked to leaveπ) and it was not this hard to get into, the worst they did to me was put me on a waiting list and say they'd see how she got along when it came to us.
It's good that they're bonded and insured. Sitters bailing isn't though, neither is the fact that it sounds like you're not even a customer and you're already having so many issues, it doesn't usually bode well for the future. Have they even met with your dog yet?
My best friend was a vet tech for ~17 years. Just do it and get it over with. Some dogs don't seem to mind, others, no, puppies are easier. You can try starting with peanut butter for toothpaste (then switching to the actual dog toothpaste later) and apparently that sometimes but not always works.
I totally agree with this as an autistic person. It's less complicated if I can see people. Even if I'm not actively visually following it the entire time, when I need clarification about the tone or context, it's really helpful to be able to see people.
The American public has largely had enough, everyone I know feels overwhelmed. I've started calling days decades ffs. It's a level of absurdity that I have never before witnessed. Also they obviously misspelled "Bored of Peace" π
Now that the DOW is under 50k again, I think it's the perfect time to ask Pam Bondi about her new reason why we can't have the Epstein files. Before she had a lot to say about the DOW being over 50k, and that's not true anymore, so how about those files Pam? Can we have them now?
Reminds me of a certain caterpillar.
It can actually be quite difficult to find out exactly what the satellite whizzing above your head is called and what its purpose is. I'm always kind of curious what they're doing up there when I'm looking up from my hammock though.
I'm always looking up at night and wandering what satellites are above me. I know they're satellites because they're too fast and too bright to be stars (I can just barely see a few stars still). Only some commercial satellites are listed anywhere though. Military satellites generally not at all.
This is Zoolander levels of ridiculousness. Try to look up a service in your area that's bonded and insured, I bet they take your dog. They probably will have you sign a waiver of liability up to a certain $ figure, but with a lot of there services you'd probably be lucky to get that anyways π
Referrals for a dog walker? Honestly these guys just need to carry insurance and make everyone sign a waiver of liability that they can't sue more than their insurance will pay out. End a story. They just don't understand how businesses work. I get a trial run to see how your dog is, but that's it.
If you're going to list 5 breeds you may as well just write mutt. Also in total agreement though, wtf? This is why public school is important and maybe there should be public dog school too, just tf? An application for dog school shouldn't even be a thing, it should, literally, be transactional.
Model it first is a sound concept in all of engineering, and science.
Knowing I've lived through a lot of awful shit, some of it my own making. People always seem confused when I say "I wouldn't change a thing." Everything good I have flows from something bad. Something bad someone else did, some screw-up I made. Nothing good ever came directly from something good.
I just realized that if I survive the apocalypse on some whim, I'm going to be looking at a lot of people and saying "I'm sorry babes, but we have to find the local fucking landfill and go dumpster diving, because we already stripped the layer off the top, and the landfill is where it's at." π€¦π»ββοΈ
Sandbox.
Glad to have correctly assessed the situation o7 My kid is nearly 22, but I remember.

I only understood that, I think, your kid has an earache, I'm not all that pop culture oriented. That sucks, though, I hope they feel better and you get some rest.
I feel like we are now on the 5th decade of March. Days are not a thing that exists anymore. Everyday is a decade. By the end of March we will have gone through about three centuries of life. That is too much life for anyone. Even vampires have been noted to struggle with that much.
I just have to say that "now the US produces 100% more oil than Americans" is a very confusing statement. I think I understand, but also it needs clarification. Like it could mean on the one hand that we produce more oil than people. Or that we sell more oil overseas, at a better profit margin.
You touch less surface area on a chopstick than a fork, so it disturbs the taste of the food less. I mainly eat with chopsticks, these rather dainty spoons, and steak knives. And I don't like wooden steak knives, the wood flavors the food. I like the taste of wood, but not
with steak.
A little over 20 years later it's easier to ignore. Only some things are impossible. Cardboard is a mouthful of dust every time for example. Smooth stainless steel, is pretty neutral, so I only notice it if I think about it. Makes me very picky about silverware though. I own a lot of chopsticks.
It happened after a TBI when I was 20. About a year later I started tasting textures. Something about my brain trying to heal itself, it miswired something. I can't recognize faces at all anymore, not even my own, but I can taste a texture. Initially it was very overwhelming.
