The comments validate what lot of gamers, myself included, have said: It’s not about the hardware specs. It’s about the games. The magic of gaming has been (mostly) lost to business metrics (sales, engagement, microtransactions, etc).

This komment made me remember my arcade days where folks would gatekeep info then too. My YT channel has always been about accuracy and helping people. I never see the need to be anything else.

We’re at peak for consoles. At these price points and specs, mid-range gaming PCs make more sense imo.

The problem is games. Few games lately are outstanding. GaaS is the play crammed with microtransactions, scant on fun.

I miss the days games were complete on release and more importantly…fun.
