It’s been a while since my last site redesign (and portfolio update) but the new version of rp.design is finally live. The design is intentionally simple on the surface, modular in structure, and includes new case studies plus a refreshed gallery of logos and marks.

Geometry / form
2/3: The system is anchored by a precise type pairing, structured color palette, and clear visual guidelines. Together, these elements reinforce a brand voice that is professional, grounded, and consistently defined across applications.
1/3: The Measure identity is built on contrast—classic typography with strong geometry, a restrained palette, and visuals that reference construction. A custom brandmark, wordmarks, flexible colors, and editorial typography support both the firm’s creative and technical work.
2/5: The Status wordmark’s custom letterforms are shaped by a simple soundwave pattern—a core brand device used on packaging, etched into cases, and in collateral. It also guides new letterform design, ensuring consistency and a link to the brand’s focus on control and fidelity.
1/5: Status’s identity is built on restraint—clarity, neutrality, and longevity guide every choice. A core wordmark, recurring soundwave pattern, secondary marks, product IDs, and minimal colors form a system that supports the brand’s no-nonsense, audio-first focus.

Albers would pick up the cathedral and the airplane and say: "These were meant to be made of stone or metal — not newspaper." Then he would pick up the photographer's absent-minded tent and say: "But this! — this makes use of the soul of paper…
But there would always be some student, a photographer or glassblower, who would simply have taken a piece of newspaper and folded it once and propped it up like a tent and let it go at that…
When he returned, he would find Gothic castles made of newspaper, yachts made of newspaper, airplanes, busts, birds, train terminals, amazing things…
