Ask any developer and they'll probably say that reading and reviewing code is not their favourite part of the job. What happens when you make that the *only* part?
What does it mean if i can throw every random idle thought at an LLM and have it churn away on it in the background, at practically zero cost to you?
There's a big attractive nuisance here - here's 9 different tasks I have in flight at the moment. Most I will not pick back up!!!
I think there's so many other second/third order effects of agentic AI coding tools that have barely been explored.
What does it mean to 'increase your productivity' 50% as a developer? I can barely keep up with code review as it is!
You know something Iβve been paying attention to recently is that all the hyperbolic hype is always about solo dev stories.
Really not seeing much thought leadership out there about what it means to use these tools in teams!
its easy to announce something. apple did it years ago!
lets see if it actually ships, and does the thing they say it does π
jesus christ casey i thought you were doing a bit but..... π₯΄

honestly i think this tells me all i need to know
Oops! Someone sent me an email that coerces it to dump the contents of every slack channel im in into a public github issue!
I'm reasonably bought into AI tooling, but this whole Clawdbot/OpenClaw/whatever seems like crazy town to me.
Anything that inserts untrusted input into an LLM (via MCP or tool calls), and has "write access" to any other tool (file system, cli, email, etc) is just ripe for prompt injection attacks
honestly leave it as is. this is art.
Watching Battlestar Galactica, and Iβm really not as bought into it being a masterpiece as everyone else seems to be.
This Gaius fellow and his hallucination(?) is by far the biggest drag.
Every time I go into one of these movies, skeptical from the title or goofy poster - Princess Mononoke, or a flying pig doing a thumbs up - and then just be totally blown away.
Well not The Island I guess (spoilers)
once again im browsing the internet, and run into random github comments unrelated to work from coworkers from like 7 years ago.
βI'd rather be a pig than a fascistβ. Ohhhh boy β€οΈ
I love the unexplained magical realism of all the movies so far. Itβs a normal world, except this one minor thing - a flying island castle, a witch comes to visit your town, the PTSD of war turns you into a literal pig unable to rejoin society.
Just finished Porco Rosso in my watching of the Miyazaki filmography, and somehow Iβm getting a feeling like guy likes planes!
"Inspired" is quite the euphemism for this!

This really is the fascist version of "shut up and buy that grey brother printer"
