It seems real odd that people are in my mentions telling me that Brian McGinnis wasn’t doing things the right way when he was PROTESTING!

Last I checked, protests weren’t meant to fit in a neat little box so as not to disturb the status quo.

And that’s why I look at the far right and wonder why they sit around and do nothing.

But then I realize this is a divide and conquer tactic.

Quell the people who would at least speak out.

Then when they’re dealt with, the others will just fall right into place and become the arm of the state.

I really hope its the latter.

But, the more I talk to people from all walks of life, even folks that I've talked to before aligning with communism or owning a gun, do I realize that these things tend to get talked about in hushed circles.

Either that or more and more people are becoming comfortable in bucking the status quo.

Like, how liberals think that gun owners are all crazed lunatics and how Global North countries look at the US because of our situation.

Or how caring for Cuba is supposed to make you a pariah.

I had a realization today.

The more I color outside of the lines of US societal norms (communism, leftist gun ownership, etc.), the more I think that the way people view what's "normal" is used to control us.

And I mean outside of the obvious.
