I’m seeing people actively switching to Claude because of Anthropic’s stance against mass surveillance and autonomous weapons.

I hope the news picks up and companies face massive pressure not to cross those lines.

I love this time of the year

All the major labs have people operating on <3-year AGI timelines, yet the AI safety funding landscape is operating on 5+ year timelines. AIS funders may be trying to 'time the market' and will be too late in a short timelines world. On an exponential, you are either too early or too late.

My plan for building an org is to keep telling myself “you’re not being ambitious enough”, revising the plan, and then doing the same thing every couple of days.
