I made the mistake of using cursor to rename a class once. Never again, took about an hour and proudly informed after that hour that 7% of my monthly tokens had been used…
I fully took 10 seconds to realise this wasn’t about sorting plastic recycling into bins and algorithms to work out when to put said bins out the front of the house. then was only slightly disappointed when I realised it in fact was, only tangentially
I think that’s good though right? But also compensated for by realising that for the things you do know, you *really do know* which is kinda cool

Stefan Tilkov walking into the sunset on Shoal Bay East
Finally finished my 6 weeks of travel with the keynote at the Software Architecture Gathering in Berlin. Final slide was of the great Stefan Tilkov who made such an amazing contribution to the industry and who sadly passed much to soon.
I went to a fantastic Georgian restaurant in Iaşi a couple of weeks ago - the things they did to an eggplant made me want to cry (in a good way) - same kind of crispy, honey, and almost miso like umami batter. Just lovely.
