I've been working overnights for almost 4 years. Lately my coworkers have made this circle of hell comfortable but some changes happened. I applied for day shift at a new facility and it got approved, I switch next month.

I'm super nervous and scared but this should be the right choice. 🥲

I finally invested in EOZ track straps and I tried them for a bit, and holy fuck why didn't I do this sooner?! 😭
I'm no longer stepping on buckles and the waist stays relatively well put on my round tummy so I'm not looking crumpled when I sit down 😭!!

I've been thinking that lately I've been acting depressed, yet not feeling it. I'm used to soul-crushing sadness being depression.
But I'm just tired, lethargic, and I hate doing things that don't give me dopamine. My room is a mess.

Dear reader, I took a bite from the cookie in the freezer in the unlabeled plastic baggie and was immediately thankful it was not a bigger bite for I tasted the unmistakable flavor of a homemade edible.

When content creators use their platform to branch out into businesses more grounded in the real world, or on websites they own themselves, that is the smart thing to do. So for anyone crying over losing their tiktok job, I don't really feel sorry for someone who couldn't have the foresight.

I get ppl made money off tiktok but these ppl had nearly a whole year to figure out a safety net or migrate. Social media and content creation only generates revenue so long as the platform is up, and any app or service or website could go down at any point. It is not secure.

The only thing I'll have left is some dental bills after this card.

My body is so wired to sleep during the day now. I've always been a night owl but the night shift really fucks with me. Brain thinks sun = sleepy time now.

Makes vacations so much harder when I should be enjoying my days but I'm just so tired and can't sleep at night.
