There are so many reasons to hate Spotify if we care about music. But every time someone (artists, labels or users) quits Spotify not because of that but because the CEO invested in a company that is helping Ukraine defend itself I feel like, as an European, I'm being betrayed
This is a correct take but I would not single out Spotify. All other mainstream streaming services are guilty of different degrees of the same issues. I like that your issues with it are related to how they devalue music and artists and not because of Ek's (good) investments in European defense.
