I’ve been put on lists for all sorts of strange, sometimes wrong reasons, and been blocked by people who follow the same people I do, assume because they’ve used block lists without vetting. They’re irritating and misused.

They add people to block lists out of spite for ridiculous reasons, then pretty soon people aren't getting many visits to there pages. People follow block lists without looking through them and end up blocking/muting people they wouldn’t have.
It makes people want to leave here.

This is for stopping lists being weaponized for ridiculous reasons, like having a blue heart in your bio, or following too many people, or creating starter packs, or just because you don't like their name.
I lot of people have maliciously been placed on block/mute lists just because they annoyed the list owner. A lot of people have seen their engagement drop because of it. If moderation lists are used responsibly it's fine, but when they're used as weapons they drive people away to other platforms.
